Nasolabial Fold Filler Injection

Do Nasolabial Fold Filler Injection Affect Health?.

Exclusive interview with Miss Ky Duyen - Filler – Botox Injections: Safe, Fast, and Highly Effective Beauty Solutions

Non-Surgical Nasolabial Folds Treatment

Dermal fillers are widely used in modern aesthetic medicine for facial volumizing, lip enhancement, nasolabial fold correction, and treating under-eye hollows. Today, they are considered one of the most advanced and effective non-surgical facial rejuvenation solutions.

In the past, however, liquid silicone was used in procedures such as breast augmentation and lip injections in Vietnam, which caused significant concerns. Since 1991, this substance has been banned worldwide due to serious complications and long-term health risks.

Non-Permanent Dermal Fillers.

Today, non-permanent dermal fillers are the most commonly used worldwide due to their high safety profile and proven effectiveness.

• Acid Hyaluronic (HA) Fillers.

Hyaluronic acid is composed of moisture-retaining molecules with a structure similar to the natural HA found in the human body. Because of this, HA fillers are highly safe, biocompatible, non-irritating with no need for skin testing, and can be naturally metabolized and eliminated by the body.

- Common HA fillers available in Vietnam include: Jevederm, Restylane, Teoxane, Prevelle, etc., with results lasting approximately 6 to 24 months.

• Radiesse.

- Radiesse contains collagen and calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a gel carrier, providing a thicker and more cohesive structure. According to the manufacturer, this allows for longer-lasting and more stable results, lasting approximately 12-18 months.

Where Are Fillers Injected to Treat Nasolabial Folds?.

- Dermal fillers are commonly injected into areas which lack volume or contour deficiencies, including cheeks, chin, temples, nose, or lips. They are also highly effective in improving facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (smile lines), tear troughs (under-eye hollows), frown lines between the eyebrows, etc.

Which Filler Is Best for Nasolabial Fold Treatment?.

Each facial area requires a specific type of dermal filler based on structure and desired results. Therefore, it is essential to consult with a qualified aesthetic doctor to determine the most appropriate filler for your individual facial anatomy and condition.
