1. Hair Care.

- On the morning of your procedure, wash your hair with your regular shampoo.

- If you intend to dye your hair, it is recommended to do so a few days before the procedure.

- After the transplant, wait 6–8 weeks before dyeing your hair again.

2. Schedule and Procedure.

- Wear button-up shirts or loose-fitting clothing for convenience during the procedure.

3. Things to Avoid Before the Procedure.

- Avoid alcohol (beer, wine, etc.) and caffeinated beverages the night before and the morning of your procedure.

- Have a light breakfast before arriving at the hospital.

- Smoking is strictly prohibited, as it can delay healing and affect results.

4. Supplements and Medications.

- If you are prescribed medication prior to surgery, please bring your prescription on the day of the procedure.

- Upon arrival, you will complete a medical questionnaire and sign a consent form.

- Inform your doctor about any current medications or supplements you are taking.

- Avoid medications or supplements that may thin the blood, such as aspirin, ibuprofen (Advil/Motrin), unless approved by your doctor.

- Friends and family members are not permitted in the operating room during the procedure to maintain a sterile environment in accordance with OSHA safety standards. However, they can visit or check the procedure progress post-operation.

- You may bring audiobooks or music devices, provided the content is appropriate for a clinical setting.

- You will receive prescribed medications and detailed aftercare instructions following the procedure.
