Post operative ice compressing

Incisional blepharoplasty is a simple technique, but, like other procedures, there is pain and swelling after the surgery. You should use ice cubes placed in a small bag or cloth to apply to the wound frequently and continuously, which will help quickly reduce swelling and soothe the wound. You should compress ice in the first 2 to 3 days after the surgery to reduce swelling on the eyelid. It is best to gently compress the wound with a bag filled with ice cubes to avoid the ice coming into contact with or getting into the eyelid incision.
